Again, it's been a while.
It's been an unusual summer, as anyone living in the UK can attest to. We speak jokingly of the British summer being nothing but months of rain, despite the record breaking heat waves we've been experiencing these last few years. However, we appear to be back on form as this summer has been cold, wet, and unpleasant. I have spent the vast majority of this summer indoors, tapping away at a keyboard and making great progress on the third instalment of this series. Though in doing so I have entirely dropped the ball on one crucial area. Advertising. I've been so focused on writing the next one that I've entirely forgotten to advertise that book 2 is ready and available. So these last days (between work, writing, and family life) have been spent working on promotional materials and adverts, building up a seasonal stockpile to be ready for the coming months! Also given the website a much needed spruce. It probably escaped notice, but the site was down for a couple of days. Noting to do with the maintenance, I'd just linked the domain to the wrong host... So that's all the plates I'm currently spinning, some of them have fallen but for now everything it turning accordingly. Also working on a few little short stories to add to the variety. They will all be available for free on this site! (page coming soon) That's all for now so as always, ttfn!

It's getting there!
We have a final title for Book two, A Noble Pursuit! Cover art for the paperback and hardback have been completed, and the final draft is almost complete. Still got formatting to finish off, but everything else is a straight shot to the finish line with release date hopefully coming this summer! So you'll have something to do on the beach between tanning and cocktails. Also, this site may be down for a short time as I migrate to a new host, so this post may not survive. But here's a heads-up for anyone who reads these. Lastly, I have also been working on an anthology series in the form of many many short stories. The aim is to publish 1 short story every month or two, and I may set those up to begin with on Patreon. So if you like what I do and want to give a little extra support then that will be appreciated. The goal, as always, is to be able to do this full time and keep writing as many stories as I can. That's all for now, as always; TTFN Well it's been a wile since my last post so here are the highlights;
Now, obviously one of those points is vastly different from the rest. As stated I was invited to Newbury College to give a talk and it was one of the most nerve wracking and exciting days I've had in a long long time. The staff and students were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. These being college kids I was honestly expecting what I remembered from college which was a vast amount of disinterest, but the questions they asked and the interest they showed in the various aspects of writing and self-publishing were great! As is often the case my mind with filled with, "Oh I should have talked about this" or "I should have said something about that". The whole day was more than I expected and I was admittedly very unprepared. However, this was definitely and experience I will remember and hopefully if I'm invited anywhere again I'll be ready and less nervous! Anyway, have had a brief break from writing so that I can tackle the second draft with a clear mind. Though I have been making notes for book 3, 4, and 5 and have written the first chapter of book 3... Ah well, that's all for now! TTFN As above, it's been a while. Between sorting out promotional stuff, trying to generate sales, and working on the sequel (along with normal everyday life stuff) I've barely had time to enjoy this intolerable heatwave.
