A Busy few months!

Well it's been a wile since my last post so here are the highlights;

• First draft of Mortzeel's Lost & Found 2 completed
• First draft gone through editing
• Second draft in progress
• Was invited to Newbury College to give a talk on self-publishing and becoming an author.

Now, obviously one of those points is vastly different from the rest. As stated I was invited to Newbury College to give a talk and it was one of the most nerve wracking and exciting days I've had in a long long time.
The staff and students were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. These being college kids I was honestly expecting what I remembered from college which was a vast amount of disinterest, but the questions they asked and the interest they showed in the various aspects of writing and self-publishing were great!
As is often the case my mind with filled with, "Oh I should have talked about this" or "I should have said something about that".  The whole day was more than I expected and I was admittedly very unprepared. However, this was definitely and experience I will remember and hopefully if I'm invited anywhere again I'll be ready and less nervous!
Anyway, have had a brief break from writing so that I can tackle the second draft with a clear mind. Though I have been making notes for book 3, 4, and 5 and have written the first chapter of book 3...
