It's been a while

As above, it's been a while. Between sorting out promotional stuff, trying to generate sales, and working on the sequel (along with normal everyday life stuff) I've barely had time to enjoy this intolerable heatwave.
So, what's been happening?

Firstly, I'm still working on generating sales, which means sorting out advertisements and social media presence (which I'd never been great at). I've also been looking for a publishing house that is recognised by book stores which will allow me to at least submit my book to places such as Waterstone. That's currently takin quite some time as I do not wish to surrender my IP to a publisher.

Next, I am still working on the sequel (some info on which can be found on my 'Books' page) which is taking up the majority of my time and brain space as i connect my various plot lines together into what I hope will be another fun adventure that brings you deeper into the world and the lives of Kaivel and Tal'avera. I'm keeping pace with where I want to be thus far and hopefully, all being well, it will be ready for publishing next year.

Finally, since I'm not busy enough it seems, I have taken to joining in with some writing challenges. A new page will shortly appear on this site detailing side projects and short stories. The first one which is the result of taking part in a competition. So far it is just the opening chapter to a sci-fi novel, but if there is interest I've already planned its expansion. 

I think that's it for the moment. As I've said before I will try to keep things here more up to date but that feels like an empty promise even as I type. My various social media platforms are the best pales to see what's going on so please, as always, like and follow, share and enjoy.
